Not the most motorhome-friendly country in terms of stopping spaces, but we can forgive that, because it's so beautiful. Fuel, food and public transport were all kind to our budget and we loved visiting Krakow.

There are (or soon will be) some roads which charge a toll - it's possible to go to a booth to pay
Speed limits depend on the time of day in built up areas. Speed limit is 140 kph on motorways (minimum speed 40 kph), 120kph on 2-lane "express roads" and 100kph on 1-lane "express roads", 90 kph outside built up areas and 50kph in built up areas from 0500 to 2300.
You're not allowed to use a horn in built-up areas
Dipped headlights during the day are compulsory
Petrol in a can is allowed, but not on board ferries
Wild camping is not allowed in national parks or by the beach, and although it may be possible in other parts of the country, it is not recommended.
