Vehicle laws:

Motorway speed limit is 110kph or 130kph, outside built-up areas it's 80kph and in built-up areas it's 50kph (apart from the centre of Copenhagen which is 40kph)

In general, give way to the right. The following all mean that you must give way to traffic on the road you're entering:
- bold line
- line of white triangles (shark's teeth) painted across the road
- white triangle with red border

Always give way to cyclists

Dipped headlights are compulsory during the daytime

Must have warning triangle

Petrol in a can is permitted, but not on ferries

Fuel may be cheaper in evenings... LPG is quite rare

Most parking is free, but you need a parking disc displaying your arrival time
